Contemporary

Contemporary is a style of expressive dance that's combines lots of dance genres such as modern, jazz, ballet and lyrical. This style is great for children to get across their emotions and expression in their dancing. This style of dance has become more popular recently with programmes such as 'The Next Step' and 'Dance Moms' HDC has a great guest teacher Josie Lee who occasionally comes in and gives contemporary workshops.
